Berserk (PS2) All Bosses (No Damage). It is a video game based on the manga Berserk. It was developed by Yuke's and released in Japan-only for the PlayStation 2 in 2004. There is an English patch for this game.

The end has come, first time I played this on an actual PS2 and first time I beat it on Nightmare difficulty.

Here I've compared the three previously released Berserk games in terms of gameplay and graphics in a short video. The games are:

1) Sword of the Berserk: Gut's Rage 1999
2) Berserk: Falcon of the Millenium Empire 2004
3) Berserk and the Band of the Hawk 2016/2017

It wasn't easy for me to get the old versions of the games. ersonally, I liked the second part (Falcon) the best. Its atmosphere is much darker than that of Band of the Hawk. If these titles were released with new graphics, many fans would be made happy.

If you don't know what Berserk is: Berserk is a fantasy medieval manga for adults that revolves around the terrible adventures of the mercenary Guts. Epic battles, an end-time mood and a ruthlessly depicted reality are characteristics of the series.

You may have heard of Berserk. You may not have heard of Berserk's games. They're not very popular. Kentaro Miura's masterpiece Berserk is a series near and dear to a lot of people, but I don't see the games mentioned much. Why is that? Well, you and me gonna find out. Berserk: Millennium Falcon Hen Seima Senki no Shō (ベルセルク 千年帝国の鷹篇 聖魔戦記の章 Beruseruku Mireniamu Farukon Hen Seima Senki no Shō?) is the second video game based on the manga Berserk. It was released by Sega-Sammy in Japan for the PlayStation 2 on October 7, 2004. Sammy licensed the game to YBM-Sisa for a Korean version, which was released at the same time.

Its predecessor, Sword of the Berserk: Guts' Rage, was released on Dreamcast by ASCII in 1999. Both Berserk video games were created by the Japanese developer Yuke's.

The game's story covers part of the Millennium Falcon Arc from the manga volumes 22 to 27. With its more detailed polygonal models, it is visually more sophisticated than its five years' predecessor on Sega Dreamcast. The maps are much larger than in the first game. Motion Capture process was used for added realism in character moves. Voice dubbing was made with the original anime TV series cast.

The series quickly became one of my all-time favourites - shocked it took me this long to sit through.

Rest in peace, Miura-san. Your work truly inspired so many others over the years, not only in the genre of dark fantasy fiction, but across so many other genres and mediums, too. You will be missed by many...condolences to your family, friends, and everyone who knew you. Your masterful art and stories will live on, both in the works they inspired, and the hearts and minds of those who saw them.

Short clip of the first and second boss battles against Zodd Nosferatu (including cutscenes), from the Berserk PS2 game. For anyone interested, the game takes place between volumes 22-27 (Millennium Falcon Arc). The game was never released in North America

The game itself is quite fun, with levels switching between linear map-like areas and boss-battles. The linear sections are a little dull and it takes some time to traverse later maps (especially when not being able to understand level objectives), but the boss battles are rather exceptional.
