To celebrate the 4th birthday of The Geek Cupboard, we are returning for a brief look at channel favourite Chef, to see how it looks now it's been released from Early Access and into the proper full release version!

Fortunately it's comfortably familiar to us so we don't have to worry about re-learning everything, although there are quite a few nice changes since when we last played, like ingredient amounts and influencing other city districts.

Chef: A Restaurant Tycoon Game steps in the footsteps of games such as Pizza Connection, where you would try to build a well-working restaurant by hiring people and not doing much else.

It's not like a terrible game or anything and I feel about about this but we kinda burned ourselves out on the previous two and had other things to talk about by the time we came to this one. Y'know, sometimes you just want to sit and talk about US politics.

I stand by what I said about the Shining carpet though.
