In this video I'm taking a look at the input lag on the Game Boy Player, especially in comparing the official software to Game Boy Interface.

I may investigate this further in the future, comparing the lag when using an OSSC. I'd also like to test with a Sony PVM/BVM that supports 480p at 59.73Hz, but that's too prohibitively expensive for most people.

I would like to compare the input lag of different official GBA consoles in the future though, and I may include the GBA Consolizer.

The gamecube gameboy player, one of my favorite add ons from nintendo. My opinion, the best way to play gameboy advance games on a television. Lost your disk like me? Here is another way to play it. This option works with a few gamecube games to replace the boot disk. These are for sale on ebay. Just google Gameboy player disk and they should show up. Ask any questions.

How to Setup Game Boy Player on Gamecube | Game Boy Player Review

The Game Boy Player allows you run Game Boy, Gameboy Color or Game Boy Advance Cartridges to be played on a TV. It was the last Game Boy based add-on to a Nintendo console.

It connects through the high speed parallel port at the bottom of the GameCube and requires the use of a boot disc to access the hardware.

Nintendo's GameBoy Player is an excellent piece of hardware that allows you to play GameBoy games on your TV through your Gamecube. We'll take a look at the options you have, and walk you though the process of getting your GameBoy Player up and running using the GC Loader PNP, along with setups incorporating the SD2SP2 and SDGecko.

We'll look at both using the original GameBoy Player software and the excellent alternative GameBoy Interface.
