So since Smash Ultimate is coming out in December it brought up the question of how do you play Smash Ultimate with a gamecube controller when in handheld mode. Well it turns out that you can use a USB C to USB A adapter and then just plug in one of the USB connectors on the game cube adapter. It works! Now someone please go out and make a stand or something so this isn't awkward to play with.

We will be having a quick run through of the Nyko classic controller adapter for the Switch.

In this video, I will show you how to get gamecube games on USB Loader GX.

In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to setup USB Loader GX to work with Nintendont to launch your GameCube games. It acts as a front end for Nintendont so you still are required to have Nintendont installed. If you do not have it installed follow the link below. USB Loader GX is going to give you a more pleasing visual experience overall compared to Nintendont's UI. This doesn't add any benefit as far as compatibility for games it just adds aesthetics such as a cover flow, box art, disc art, and so forth. If a game isn't compatible with Nintendont it is still not going to be compatible by using USB Loader GX as the front end.

You will need a raspberry pi or an Arduino Uno as ISP or UsbAsp programmer...anything that uses SPI and communicates with the computer...although I did have some trouble with the UNO, and my USBasp needed to be updated which was horrible considering that it doesnt have a programming header JP2, whereas most do. So there was jury rigging to be done.
