This video outlines some do and do not actions for this device as well as things to look for if its not working. i am not to be held liable if you break your Game shark. i explain what type of codes work and dont and how to add them. as well as a place to find codes for pokemon emerald.

This is where i found my codes! Remember if you have a gameshark that shows 12 digits to enter the code IT MUST BE A 12 DIGIT CODE. example :this type code does not work for gameshark sp clear

So I finally got the game shark to work with a copy of Pokémon gold in it I try to do it again with Kirby's dreamland but it crashed on me

Hey guys. In this video, i will be showing you how to use cheats on your official GBA games and cartridges without a Gameshark or Action Replay. This tutorial will teach you how to rip the game, and then rip the save file, edit it on the PC with the emulator and cheat codes, and then write the save file back to the official game.

I have attached a cheat code sheet below with known working codes i have tested! please feel free to view it and add to it so we can have the biggest working sheet as of 2019! You never know, by contributing, you might also find another code somone else has contributed, which you have been looking for, for a long time!

Sorry for making yet another wicked long video..but it's essential that this is done correctly and there is a lot to cover on this subject. This video will show you how to upgrade your v1.0 Gameshark (by Interact) to Action Replay v3 and utilize the Action Replay GBX software on your PC.
To the best of my knowledge this will require:
-gameshark advance v1.0 device
-USB link cable
-Action Replay GBX software (and drivers etc.)
-early Windows (2000) operating system (CAN be run on virtual box IF you get the extension pack that allows it to access linked USB devices from your host computer - easy to lookup and do)

*I think Ciro's codes actually only work for real ARv3s and on emulators, not upgraded Gamesharks!

*But keep in mind you CAN download your game save, load it into Visual Boy Advance emulator, perform essentially any code possible on your game, and then re-upload that game save back onto your cartridge version. Little more difficult, but endless cheating possibilities
