This is Metroid Prime 2d, a metroid fan game in development from some time in 2004 to (around 2010) this is build 3.1. The only levels ever released were the space frigate levels.

This fan game was okay for the most part. Movement felt weird at first (Heck I never got used to it) and some bosses were just stupid hard. But I've played worst games. I wish I knew why Metroids made a Ridley noise when killed though.
