I came across this version of Monopoly at my local Walmart and I decided to pick this up, mainly because I couldn't find much info about it. Here's an unboxing video showcasing everything this game has to offer.

It’s pretty much the same as regular monopoly, but it has more of a “Covid quarantine” theme.

1. All the board spaces are places around your home, while the railroads are different types of delivery services. Utilities are streaming services.

2. Some chance and community chest cards give you a bonus or allow you to not pay if you own specific properties. They also have little flavor text that fits the theme.

3. The tokens are social distancing, which means that if you land on the same spot as another player, you move to the next available space.

4. If someone goes to jail, and there happens to be someone already there, then the person that was in jail before moves to the "just visiting" space.

5. There’s a wandering child that starts on free parking. When you take your turn, you roll two dice, one with black pips and one with red pips. When you roll, you move your character first by adding the total of the two dice, then after you resolve your space, you move the child the amount shown on the red pips. The child doesn’t follow any rules of a board space. If you land on the child, you offer it a bribe of $50 and run away, which allows you to move to any property space on the board. You do not collect $200 for passing go if you do this. If the child lands on you, you just pay $50. If the child is on someone’s property, that person can’t collect rent until the child moves.

You keep playing until everyone else is bankrupt. Whoever’s left standing wins.

RULES:
The object of the game is to be the last player standing.

Lay out the board and each player picks a token and places it on Go. Give each player $1,500 divided as follows: 2 $500s, $100s, and $50s, 6 $20s, and 5 $10s, $5s, and $1s. All the remaining money stays with the game and is called the bank.

One person is the banker and manages the money of the bank, which must stay separate from their player money. Place the property cards, houses, and hotels with the bank.

Each player rolls the dice and the player with the highest total goes first, then play proceeds clockwise.

On your turn, roll both dice and move your token exactly that many spaces clockwise around the board. If you land on an unowned property you may buy it from the bank for the listed price. You receive the property card and place it face up in front of you. If you do not wish to buy it, then the bank sells it at auction to the highest bidder.

If you land on a property that another player owns, pay them rent according to the price on their property card. If they own all the properties of the same color, then you must pay them double rent on unimproved properties. An unimproved property is a spot that doesn’t have any houses or a hotel on it.

If the player does have houses or a hotel, you must pay them the corresponding price. The property owner may not collect rent if he fails to ask for it before the next player rolls the dice. If you do not have enough money to pay another player or the bank, you must sell off your hotels, houses, and mortgage property until you can pay the creditor. To mortgage a property you own, flip it face down and collect the mortgage price from the bank. If a player lands on a mortgaged property, they do not pay any rent and they are not allowed to buy the mortgaged property. To unmortgage a property you must pay the bank the mortgage price plus 10%. Unimproved properties in a monopoly still receive the double rent bonus even if some of the properties are mortgaged.

If you sell and mortgage everything and still don’t have enough money to pay, you are bankrupt and are out of the game. You give all that you have to the creditor. Mortgaged properties remained mortgaged. A player may never give or lend money or properties to another player.

As you travel around the board several things can happen. If you land on chance or community chest, you draw 1 card from its respected draw pile and follow the instructions on the card. If you land on a tax space, you pay the bank the proper amount. If you land on free parking, nothing happens. When you land on or pass GO you collect 200 dollars from the bank. If you land on Go to jail, you go immediately go to jail and do not pass GO and do not collect 200 dollars. If you land on the jail space, you aren’t in jail, but are visiting.

If you roll doubles, you get to roll and move again. Unless this is the 3rd time you’ve rolled doubles in a single turn, then, you go straight to jail.

If you’re in jail, you still are allowed to buy and sell houses, trade with players and collect rent. However, at the start of your turn you may pay $50 to be released from jail. If you do this, pay, then roll the dice and continue your turn as normal. Or, if you choose not to pay, you still roll dice, if you roll doubles you are released from jail and move that many spaces, then your turn ends, you do not get to roll again. IF you fail to roll doubles by your 3rd turn in jail, you must pay the $50 and move the number of spaces you did roll.

During the game you may only trade with other players: cash, “get out of jail free cards”, and properties that do not have any houses or hotels on them. You may not sell buildings to players. You may not trade “free rent” or loan players money. You may not gift players money.

When you own all the properties of the same color you have a monopoly. You are now allowed to build houses and hotels on those properties. The price per house is listed on each property. You must build and sell houses evenly across all properties in a monopoly, you are not allowed to build up or break down just one property. If the bank runs out of houses for you to buy, you must wait until another player sells houses before you can buy houses; or you must buy straight up to hotels. When you sell houses back to the bank, they give you half the value you purchased them for. You may buy and sell houses during your turn or in between other players’ turns...

RULES:

The object of the game is to have the most money when the first player goes bankrupt. This is a fast version of the monopoly game, and some rules are very different! First big change are the houses. You do not have to wait to own a color set. Every property you buy gets a house immediately. Put the house on the number one square in the space's color band. This shows the rent level.

Every time someone lands on a space you own, not only do they pay you rent, but your rent then jumps one level. If you land on a space you own, your rent also jumps one. Move the house each time your rent jumps - or drops. There can only ever be one house per property.

The maximum rent level is 5, and rent cannot fall below level 1. Unless a property is being returned to the Bank to pay a debt, at which point it becomes an unowned property again and the rent level is reset. Every property has a Title Deed card that shows all five rent values.

If you lose track of your rent level (of where your house should be), you can check the rent level by tapping the Title Deed card to the unit. You must press the “X” button afterwards or the unit will think you want to buy it or pay rent. The unit will automatically revert back to the default screen after 10 seconds if you don’t press the “X” button.

There is no cash in the game. The Ultimate Banking unit does everything for you, quickly and easily. Bank cards let the unit keep track of your money & properties. Every card tapped plays a sound. If you haven't heard a sound, the tap hasn't registered.

Shuffle the Event cards then place them face down on the gameboard. Separate the Title Deed cards by color sets. Place the houses by the Title Deed cards. Give each player 1 token and its matching Bank card. Place all tokens on GO. Place the banking unit in the center of the game board. Turn it on by pressing any button. To start a new game press and hold the “X” button for about 5 seconds until the unit turns off, then press any button to start a new game. Each player taps their Bank card on the unit. When you are ready to play, press the “Check” button. $1500 will be automatically credited to your card.

To Tap cards, briefly lay the card flat, barcode-side down, onto the card reader. Ensure the card covers the card reader completely. You will hear a sound after each completed function. If you don't hear a sound, try placing the card flat over the card reader again.

The youngest player goes first then play proceeds clockwise. On your turn: Roll both dice and move your token clockwise around the board that number of spaces. Then take an action based on where you land. If you roll doubles, then you get to take another turn. If you roll doubles 3 times in a row, then you go straight to jail and do not take a third turn.

When you land on a property that no one owns, you must buy it or auction it. To buy a property. Tap the Title Deed card then Tap your Bank card to buy it. The price for each property is listed on the board. The banking unit automatically deducts the cost from your balance and, ka-ching, it's yours! Put a house on the space's level 1 spot. Every time anyone lands on the space, rent will go up. Place the Title Deed card in front of you.

To auction a property, Tap the Title Deed card of the property you want to auction.
Tap the “M” button until the “auction” icon shows. Tap the “M” button and the auction starts. Any player may bid on the auction in multiples of 20 unless you are in jail, then you may not bid. To bid, press the “M” button. And say the amount out loud that you increase the bid to. The auction will end after a short period of time and the player who bid last wins and must tap their bank card to pay, then they collect the property and place 1 house on it on the board.
If no one wants the property then you press the “X” button to continue without anyone buying it. If the auction timer runs out before anyone bid then tab the title deed card and restart the auction...
