WRYYYYYD THE PINNED COMMENT FOR UPDATES

Vimm's Lair is a great resource for games you don't want to pay some random guy on eBay $20 to try. It's probably the best rom site out there. But their PS3 games come as data folders, which is kinda weird. Here's how to convert that into something easier for your PS3 to recognize using PS3-ISO-Rebuilder.

You can find PS3-ISO-Rebuilder here: archive.org/download/ps3-iso-rebuilder-1.0.4.1/PS3-ISO-Rebuilder.zip
It should immediately download a zip file that contains the program. If this ever goes down, let me know and I'll make my own upload of it, this time without any blackjack nor hookers.

TL;DR (also at the end of the video)
- format usb drive in FAT32
- download game from Vimm
- convert JB folder to .iso with PS3-ISO-Rebuilder
- make PS3ISO folder on usb and put iso (or split iso) into it
- plug it into hacked PS3 with multiman
boom, it's under "webMAN games" and can be mounted as a virtual disk!

I have a Super Slim Jim with PS3HEN on it, but as far as I can tell the process for accessing the game is the same on CFW. There's also an equivalent PS3ISO folder on your PS3's hard drive, so I assume with some shenanigans or FTP magic you can install the game to HDD so you don't have to leave the USB stick plugged in all the time. I'll leave a pinned comment on how to transfer the iso from the USB stick to the hard drive once I figure it out (I'm DEFINITELY gonna use that 500GB HDD hell yeah brother).

At the begining of the video I will show you how to get to your MAME REMIX pkg

Download the MAMERX-MAMEREMIX_00-0000000000000000.pkg and store it on USB Flash Drive doesn't need to be in a folder.

​Go to package manager/install package/Standard/MAMERX-MAMEREMIX_00-0000000000000000.pkg

It will take 21 minutes to install on your PS3 (I fast forward the video so be patience)

After that you are ready to play MAME REMIX

When it loads up "3 wonders rom" will start automatically

Beginning it says type ok just press "Left and Right on D-Pad"

How to exit game just hold "L3 + R3" and brings you to the Main Menu.

Go to Load Content (MAME 2003) to access the 1,926 roms

You can scroll using the "D-pad Up and Down" or "L1 and R1"

When picking the game hit X and at the beginning it says type ok just press "Left and Right on D-Pad"

When in the game it will say Insert Coin just keep hitting "select" and it thinks you are inserting quarters than "press start" or "hit X" to play the game.

How to exit out of MAME REMIX just go into menu and pick last option "Exit from retroarch, or press the "PS button aka Home button" and pick quit game.

Basic Mame Emulator:
1. 2 Player option function perfect for other players
2. Save / Load States will work on most titles and few titles won't work. (mainly Midway titles)
3. No Cheat File
4. Couldn't rename roms (Will result in Black Screens)
5. No rom covers because they are zip files

Download it and place the MAME00125 folder in the game folder. It would be: dev_hdd0 / game / MAME00125 and to place the Roms you have to make a folder called MAME and make 3 subfolders ROMs, sample and snap. It would look like this: dev_hdd0 / MAME / ROMs
